Job Overview
The Sales Executive – Liquor Trade is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding Kazang’s footprint within the liquor trade sector in Welkom and surrounding areas.
The role requires a self-driven individual who can manage their territory independently, acquire new merchants, install devices, and maximise revenue through strong customer relationships and strategic sales execution.
Job Description
Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to ensure consistent target achievement.
Drive average revenue per unit through effective cross-selling and upselling.
Business Development
Identify and establish new business opportunities within the liquor trade market.
Engage actively with informal vendors to grow the merchant base.
Increase product availability and visibility across the assigned territory.
Product Installation & Support
Install merchant devices at new client sites.
Provide guidance and basic training to ensure correct device usage.
Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing support and follow-up.
Market & Team Contribution
Encourage identification of cross-selling opportunities.
Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Sales and Distribution unit.
Maintain strong client relationships to support retention and expansion.
Minimum Requirements
Experience
1–2 years’ experience in client-facing sales.
Experience in FMCG, informal trade, or merchant services will be advantageous.
Qualifications & Skills
Proficient in English and at least one additional African language.
Valid driver’s license (essential).
Computer literate (Windows, Outlook, Excel).
