Academic Qualifications:

PhD (NQF Level 10) in:

Computer Science

Data Science

Computer Engineering Science
-
Electrical Engineering
(with a research focus on Computer Science or closely related field)
→ Permanent appointment

OR
-
Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) in any of the above fields
→ 5-year contract (must obtain PhD within that time to be considered for permanent post)
Additional Requirements:

Experience teaching first-year programming modules, particularly C# in engineering contexts

Conference presentations (oral or poster)

Evidence of publishable research output (e.g., manuscripts)

Good academic record (attach transcript)
