    Role Overview:

    The Funeral Arrangement Consultant is responsible for guiding families through funeral planning and arrangements, ensuring compassionate support and professional execution. This position requires excellent interpersonal and administrative skills, the ability to manage multiple arrangements simultaneously, and strict adherence to Covision’s service standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist families through the funeral arrangement process with empathy and professionalism.

    • Coordinate with funeral home staff, cemeteries, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations.

    • Maintain accurate documentation for all funeral arrangements.

    • Ensure operational readiness and scheduling efficiency for all services.

    • Provide timely communication with families regarding funeral arrangements.

    • Handle administrative and financial tasks accurately and confidentially.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Certificate or Diploma in Business Management or Operations

    • 1–2 years’ experience in funeral arrangements, high-contact customer service, or administrative roles with sensitive client interaction

    • Strong communication skills in English and Sesotho/Setswana

    • Emotional maturity, professionalism, and ability to work under pressure, including weekends and after hours

    Advantageous Qualifications:

    • Training in funeral services or mortuary operations

    • Customer care, hospitality, or grief counselling background

    • First Aid or Health & Safety awareness

    • Driver’s license for field coordination

     Key Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Certificate/Diploma in Business Management or Operations (minimum)

    • Additional funeral service or grief counselling training (advantageous)

    Experience

    • 1–2 years in funeral arrangement, high-contact customer service, or sensitive administrative roles
