Role Overview:
The Examiner of Vehicles is responsible for conducting vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with technical standards. The role includes preparing condition reports, performing comprehensive inspections, and supporting additional inspection requirements as needed. Accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to DEKRA standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles to ensure safety and roadworthiness.

Perform all technical inspections, including mandatory roadworthy tests.

Complete and maintain DEKRA Condition Reports accurately.

Conduct additional inspections as requested by management or regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation and computer records.
Requirements:

Diploma in Examiner of Vehicles (mandatory)
-
Qualified mechanic (advantageous)
-
2+ years’ experience as a vehicle technician (advantageous)

Computer literacy and familiarity with DEKRA reporting systems

Strong communication skills
-
Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines

Valid driver’s license
