Job Overview
The Data Team Lead provides oversight and accountability for one or more clinical trials, leading the data management activities while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The role ensures that clinical data deliverables are of high quality, scientifically accurate, compliant with regulatory requirements, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities

Lead data management activities across assigned trials and act as the primary point of contact for trial customers and functional partners.

Establish, align, and confirm data management expectations with internal and external stakeholders.

Create, plan, and track all data management deliverables, including:

Case Report Forms (CRFs)
-
Data Review Plan
-
Quality Control (QC) Plan
-
Oversight Plan
-
Database Release Plan
-
Final Datasets
-
Submission Plan and Archival
-

Gather content and integration requirements for eCRF and other data collection tools.

Define conventions, quality expectations, and dataset structure for clinical data.

Perform trial-level oversight and quality control activities per oversight plans and work instructions.

Ensure deliverables are inspection-ready for regulatory agencies and client audits.

Participate in clinical working groups to meet Data Management and therapeutic area requirements.

Identify and communicate lessons learned, best practices, and FAQs at the trial level.

Present and provide training at investigator and monitor meetings as needed.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
-
BS/BA degree or higher, preferably in Health Sciences or with relevant professional clinical exposure.

At least 5 years of data management experience, including 3 years in a lead/co-lead role.

Vendor management experience.

Rave experience mandatory.

Strong understanding of clinical trial workflows, regulatory compliance, and data management processes.
