Job Purpose
The Health Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining merchandising standards, ensuring products are correctly displayed and stocked, and providing excellent customer service within the store.
Minimum Requirements
Essential
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Up to 6 months retail experience
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous
- Diploma or degree in a Health Focus category
- At least 1 year retail experience
Key Responsibilities
- Restock merchandise according to business needs
- Ensure stock is stored correctly in stockrooms and on shelves
- Keep shelves fully stocked at all times
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First In First Out) principles
- Assist with stocktaking
- Ensure shelves are neat, labelled correctly, and priced accurately
- Build and maintain merchandising displays
- Maintain store cleanliness and product presentation
- Assist customers with stock queries
- Assist with back shopping and stock management
