Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
Participate in on-the-job training and upskilling.
Support plant and system upgrades.
Perform system and equipment maintenance.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 and N3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
1 year of experience in a production factory environment.
2 years of experience as a Handyman Maintenance with strong mechanical skills (advantageous).
Skills & Competencies:
Expert knowledge of engineering and industry standards.
Familiarity with OHS Act and quality management principles.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and decision-making abilities.
Supportive, innovative, and team-oriented mindset.
Physical fitness for factory conditions and handling heavy equipment.
