The South African Veterinary Foundation (SAVF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of veterinary science in South Africa. Since 1999, the SAVF has awarded bursaries to over 40 students, funded by a combination of industry sponsors and heartfelt public contributions such as those made through the Pet Memorial Fund and private donors like the Seria family, who donate in memory of their beloved dog, Da Vinci. The Foundation also works closely with veterinary wholesalers and professionals to enhance the quality and accessibility of veterinary education in South Africa.
