Job Purpose:
To coordinate and manage all operational processes and facilities at Metrofile Bloemfontein, ensuring services are delivered in line with customer contracts and internal standards. This includes overseeing storage, retrieval, and distribution operations, while also being responsible for facilities maintenance, staff supervision, and compliance with safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements:

Experience:
-
Minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or Operations & Facilities.

Experience in people management (10–15 staff).
-
Industrial Relations (IR) experience.
-

Education:
-
Bachelor’s Degree preferred (relevant field).
-

Skills & Knowledge:
-
Strong communication (written, oral, and listening).
-
Operational process improvement and systems thinking.
-
Ability to multitask and manage in high-pressure environments.

Computer literate.

Strong customer service orientation.

Professional appearance and conduct.

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license.

Own reliable vehicle.

Willingness to work beyond regular hours and be on call when required.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management – Storage, Vault, IP & Distribution
-
Ensure service delivery meets SLA agreements (box and vault storage).
-
Improve operational workflows and efficiency.
-
Oversee file/box retrieval, location, and delivery processes.
-
Manage fleet usage, maintenance, and replacements.
-
Monitor brand standards (e.g., dress code, vehicle branding).
-
Compile operational productivity reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
Facilities Management
-
Oversee building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
-
Manage external contractors and ensure compliance.
-
Enforce health and safety standards.
-
Respond to emergencies and provide after-hours access as required.
-
Manage non-compliance reports and audit preparations.
People Management

Supervise 10–15 staff members.
-
Ensure staff are trained, skilled, and motivated.

Maintain a positive, productive working environment.
