Job Description
Financial Operations
Assist with daily accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Process ledger allocations accurately and timeously.
Reconcile inventory records and contra/offset accounts.
Reconcile control accounts.
Maintain compliance with audit requirements and internal controls.
Reporting & Analysis
Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
Assist in the budgeting process.
Prepare ad hoc financial and analytical reports.
Track costs, margins, and stock movements across sites.
Provide management with data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Inventory & Operational Support
Work closely with operational teams to ensure financial records reflect actual stock movements.
Monitor inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy between systems and physical stock.
Systems & Continuous Improvement
Utilize advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
Contribute to process improvements within finance and operations.
Support the use of Business Central and Power BI dashboards (advantageous).
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Relevant BCom degree in Accountancy or similar.
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (advantageous).
Experience
Experience in a fast-moving operational, agricultural, or processing environment preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Experience with Business Central and/or Power BI (advantageous).
