- Department / Employer: Communicate Engineering (Commercial Sector – Design & Manufacture of Heavy Machinery)
- Salary / Remuneration: R300,000 – R420,000 per annum (Total Cost to Company)
Main Purpose of the Job:
To assist in the design, programming, and maintenance of automated systems and machinery in the commercial sector. The role includes PLC programming, system support, CAD work, and site-based tasks to enhance reliability and performance of engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities / Main Tasks:

Develop and optimize automation programming

Work on PLC systems and provide technical support

Conduct on-site support and troubleshooting
-
Maintain and enhance the reliability of machinery and systems
-
Propose improvements and solutions for site equipment
-
Draft and update CAD drawings
Minimum Requirements:
-
0–1 years experience in electrical system design and components
-
Proficient in MATLAB and Simulink
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Preferred Qualification:
-
BEng or BTech in Mechatronics Engineering
