About the Role:
As the General Worker Team Leader for the night shift at Triton Express, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations during the night, ensuring efficient receiving, handling, and dispatch of stock while leading and overseeing a team. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and compliance with safety and company policies to maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and oversee records of received goods and supplies.

Arrange consignments in the warehouse post-stock orders.

Organize shifts and delegate tasks to warehouse staff.

Verify received goods against packing lists and invoices.

Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies.

Communicate effectively with branches about shipments and deliveries.

Ensure all company procedures and processes are followed.

Plan, direct, and maintain efficient warehouse receiving operations.

Inspect and evaluate team performance.

Handle general housekeeping of the warehouse.

Assist clients, branches, and staff with warehouse-related queries and resolve issues promptly.

Manage driver documentation such as trip sheets and waybills.

Arrange transport for stock delivery to clients.

File departmental documents and prepare stock reports.

Ensure all consignments are correctly loaded and scanned to prevent misroutes.
Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).

Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised.
-
Good communication skills in English.
-
Valid, unendorsed Code 10 driver’s license with a valid PDP.

Availability to work Monday to Friday, 11:00 – 21:00, including overtime.

Reliable, presentable, and high integrity.
-
Own transport to and from work.
