    Job Overview:

    • Job Title: Manager: Used Vehicle Sales

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive the success of the Used Vehicle Sales department, reporting directly to the Dealer Principal

    • Achieve budgeted Profit Before Tax and meet at least 90% of VW franchisor sales targets

    • Oversee deal file compliance and ensure 100% of all deals are properly sighted

    • Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores based on national averages

    • Ensure compliance with group policies, BEE objectives, and industry legislation (FAIS, FICA, POPI, CPA)

    • Manage trade-in processes, demo vehicle stock, consignment, and trade sales

    • Oversee social media marketing initiatives

    • Staff management: training, development, motivation, and maintaining low turnover

    • Interpret financial reports, monitor forecasts, and control departmental costs

    • Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    • Higher Certificate and/or Advanced National Certificate (NQF Level 4)

    • Diploma or degree in Management or Marketing (preferred)

    • VW industry-specific qualifications or willingness to work towards them

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in used vehicle sales

    • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience

    • Strong knowledge of industry compliance and legislation

    • Proven ability to lead teams and use VW software systems
