    • Job Title: Millwright

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, maintain, repair, test, and commission electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems in the feed mill

    • Conduct preventive maintenance and perform fault-finding on machinery and equipment

    • Fabricate, fit, and repair parts for machines

    • Work on electrical transmission and distribution systems

    • Perform welding and tacking as needed

    • Maintain high equipment availability and reduce downtime

    • Participate in standby duties and emergency maintenance

    • Maintain and manage the Critical Spares List

    • Provide monthly reports on breakdowns, downtime, and maintenance activities

    • Use OnKey (PRAGMA) system for maintenance planning

    Qualifications:

    • Qualified Millwright with N3

    • Valid Trade Certificate (Millwright) from QCTO or accredited institution (SETA)

    • At least 3 years of proven experience in a manufacturing or agricultural environment

    • Experience in mechanical systems, welding, and high-voltage connections

    • Wireman’s License (advantageous)

    • PLC and VSD experience (preferably Allen Bradley)

    • Strong computer literacy (Windows, PLC programming)

    • Knowledge of OHS Act

    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and perform accurate measurements

    Skills Required:

    • Problem-solving and technical fault diagnosis

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work under pressure, including shift work and extended hours

    • Medically fit for the role
