    The Manager – Technology Enterprise Services will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering regional TES projects, ensuring optimal performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees the operational execution of Enterprise ICT solutions, wholesale infrastructure projects, and network rollout within the Free State region. The manager will lead a skilled technical team, ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance standards, and MTN’s commitment to excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Planning:

    • Plan and manage regional work packages for TES projects.

    • Ensure resources are trained, skilled, and aligned with demand forecasts.

    • Identify and mitigate project and support risks.

    Operations Management:

    • Oversee FMC network design and feasibility evaluations.

    • Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality project delivery.

    • Approve “As Built” documents and vendor invoices.

    Profitability & Growth:

    • Prioritise projects for maximum profit realisation.

    • Limit the impact of delays and outages on revenue.

    Governance & Compliance:

    • Implement controls for project monitoring, risk management, and service availability.

    • Ensure all permits and wayleaves are obtained before deployment.

    People & Culture:

    • Lead, coach, and develop the TES regional team.

    • Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Education: 4-year degree in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering; Prince2 Practitioner or PMP certification.

    • Experience:

      • Minimum 5 years in telecommunications, with leadership experience.

      • Proven track record in managing infrastructure projects over R250 million.

      • Experience in multinational environments and cross-cultural teams.
