JOURNALISM LECTURE (PART TIME)
Job Title: Lecturer – Journalism (Part Time)

Responsibilities:

Deliver journalism-related content in a classroom (online or in-person)

Conduct consultations with students

Analyze module-level results and implement interventions for at-risk students

Mark assessments and provide detailed feedback

Contribute to academic research and development
Qualifications:
-
Honours degree, Bachelor’s degree, or BTech in Journalism
-
1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience
-
1 to 3 years of lecturing experience
-
Strong knowledge of South African Further and Higher Education systems and regulatory frameworks

Understanding of teaching and learning theory, assessment methods, and academic interventions
