Tender Description
The Department of Water and Sanitation is inviting suitably qualified contractors to provide the supply, delivery and installation of fencing for the Bucket Eradication Programme in Senekal, Free State, under the Construction West region.
The appointed contractor will be responsible for supplying the required fencing materials, transporting them to the designated sites and completing the installation work using the necessary labour, equipment and resources.
Scope of Work
The project includes:
- Supply of all fencing materials required for the project.
- Delivery and transportation of materials to designated sites in Senekal.
- Installation of fencing at identified areas.
- Provision of all necessary labour, equipment and resources.
- Site preparation and associated fencing works.
- Ensuring completed fencing meets the required quality standards.
- Compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
- Proper scheduling, supervision and management of the work.
- Completion of the project in accordance with the Department’s specifications and tender conditions.
Requirements
Bidders must:
- Have a minimum CIDB grading of 2CE or higher, as stated in the tender notice.
- Be able to demonstrate the technical capacity to undertake fencing and related construction work.
- Have suitable resources, equipment and skilled personnel to complete the project.
- Demonstrate appropriate project management and site supervision capabilities.
- Comply with all applicable health and safety requirements.
- Meet all administrative and documentation requirements contained in the official tender documents.
- Submit the tender using the official tender documentation issued by the Department.
Local Preference
Preference is offered to tenderers who are local to Senekal and the surrounding areas.
Briefing Session
Attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting is required.
