Tender Description
The Department of Water and Sanitation is inviting suitably qualified contractors to undertake the supply, delivery and installation of built-in cupboards at the Metsing Single Living Quarters at the Vaal Dam Office in Deneysville.
The appointed contractor will be responsible for the complete process, from sourcing and fabricating the cupboards through to transportation, on-site installation, finishing, cleaning and final handover.
Scope of Work
The successful contractor will be expected to:
- Manufacture or procure built-in cupboards according to the required specifications.
- Supply all necessary materials, fittings and accessories.
- Transport the completed cupboards and materials to the Vaal Dam Office.
- Prepare the installation areas where necessary.
- Professionally install and securely fix the cupboards.
- Ensure accurate measurements, alignment and finishing.
- Complete all required adjustments and finishing work.
- Remove construction waste and leave the work area clean.
- Complete the project and hand it over to the Department of Water and Sanitation.
Requirements
Bidders should have:
- A minimum CIDB Grade 1GB or higher.
- Relevant experience in building, carpentry, cabinetry or interior fit-out work.
- Competent personnel capable of manufacturing and installing built-in cupboards.
- The ability to interpret drawings, measurements and technical specifications.
- Appropriate equipment and resources to complete the installation.
- The capacity to manage procurement, transportation and on-site installation.
- Compliance with applicable health, safety and quality requirements.
