Tender Objective
Moqhaka Local Municipality seeks to appoint a qualified service provider to supply, deliver, install, and support an enterprise antivirus solution for 36 months. The solution will strengthen the municipality’s cybersecurity by protecting approximately 350 users and 20 servers.
Scope of Work
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
- Supplying enterprise antivirus software.
- Delivering and installing the solution across the municipality’s ICT infrastructure.
- Configuring and deploying the software.
- Providing user and administrator training.
- Offering technical support and maintenance for 36 months.
- Monitoring system performance in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Providing regular software updates and technical assistance.
Technical Requirements
The antivirus solution must include:
- Sandbox technology for detecting suspicious files and activities.
- File and URL reputation analysis.
- Windows patch management.
- Third-party application patch management.
- Centralized management console.
- Email security and anti-spam capabilities.
- Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
- Managed Detection and Response (MDR).
- Extended Detection and Response (XDR).
- Indicators of Compromise (IoC) capabilities.
Training Requirements
The appointed service provider must provide training on:
- ATP deployment and management
- MDR solutions
- XDR solutions
- Indicators of Compromise (IoC)
- System deployment
- Administration
- Maintenance and support
Bidder Requirements
Service providers should demonstrate:
- Proven experience supplying and implementing enterprise antivirus solutions.
- Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity environments.
- Ability to provide ongoing technical support for the full contract period.
- Qualified technical staff with relevant certifications, such as:
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA Network+ (N+)
- Other recognised cybersecurity certifications
- Availability of technicians within or near the municipality for timely support.
