Objective
To appoint one or more qualified service providers to deliver comprehensive cleaning, hygiene, deep cleaning, and pest control services across various PPSA offices nationally, ensuring safe, hygienic, and professional working environments.

Scope of Work
General Cleaning Services

Daily cleaning of offices, kitchens, boardrooms, and restrooms

Waste collection and disposal
-
Floor maintenance and surface sanitation
Deep Cleaning

Quarterly carpet deep cleaning

Deep cleaning of tiled surfaces

Scheduled intensive sanitation
Hygiene Services

Supply and maintenance of:

Soap dispensers
-
Hand towel dispensers

Sanitary bins

Regular servicing and replenishment
Pest Control

Quarterly pest control treatments

Full building coverage

Safe chemical application

Compliance with environmental standards
Equipment & Consumables

Provision of cleaning machinery

SABS/SANS-approved chemicals

PPE for staff

Uniformed personnel
Technical & Compliance Requirements
Bidders must provide:

Valid UIF registration (including staff contributions)
-
Valid COIDA certificate (entire contract period)

Tax compliance status
-
Qualified hygiene personnel
-
Adherence to health & safety regulations
-
Approved chemical usage (SABS/SANS compliant)
PPSA reserves the right to appoint one or more service providers.
Skills & Experience Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
-
Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in cleaning services
-
At least 4 similar contracts with reference letters
-
Experience handling contracts above R2 million
-
Trained and qualified personnel
-
Membership in recognized industry associations (e.g., NCCA, ISSA, BEECA)
-
Ability to manage multi-site national contracts
