Description
The municipality requires a supplier to provide a range of cleaning detergents, sanitation products and general hygiene supplies for its Bultfontein offices.
Suppliers must quote for all specified line items and ensure that products supplied comply with the required specifications. Where brands are specified, equivalent products may be accepted if they meet the required quality and specifications.
Scope of Supply
The required products include:
- 2-ply toilet paper – 48s
- Multipurpose cleaning cream – 750ml
- Toilet bowl cleaner – 750ml
- Multi-surface cleaner
- Liquid dishwasher – 750ml
- Thick bleach – 750ml
- Liquid handwash – 200ml
- Toilet spray – 280ml
- Insect killer – 300ml
- Insect powder – 500g
- Pine gel – 5L
- Washing powder – 2kg
- Toilet blocks – Duck or equivalent
- Jumbo rolls
- Liquid floor polish – 20L
Responsibilities of the Successful Supplier
The appointed supplier will be expected to:
- Supply all cleaning and hygiene products listed in the quotation.
- Deliver the products to the municipality’s offices in Bultfontein.
- Provide products that meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Quote accurately for all required items.
- Provide samples where requested before an official purchase order is issued.
- Ensure that delivered quantities correspond with the order.
- Maintain consistent product quality.
- Comply with all municipal supply-chain and procurement requirements.
Requirements
Bidders should ensure that they meet the municipality’s administrative and compliance requirements, including:
- Valid CSD registration.
- Valid Tax Compliance Status/TCS PIN or applicable tax clearance documentation.
- Completed and signed MBD 4 – Declaration of Interest.
- Completed MBD 6.1 – Preference Points Claim Form.
- Completed MBD 8 – Declaration of Bidder’s Past Supply Chain Management Practices.
- Completed MBD 9 – Certificate of Independent Bid Determination.
- Supporting documentation required to claim specific-goal points.
- Complete pricing for all required items.
