Job Description
This role is part of a road freight logistics operation, supporting truck drivers and warehouse teams to ensure goods are delivered safely, correctly, and on time.
You will be responsible for assisting in the loading, transporting, and offloading of goods, as well as ensuring proper handling and safety of cargo.
The job requires physical work, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Loading & Offloading
- Load goods onto trucks at the depot
- Offload goods at client locations
- Stack and organize goods in designated areas
Vehicle Support
- Ensure goods are correctly loaded and secured
- Assist driver during deliveries and operations
- Help maintain safety standards during transport
General Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties when required
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Customer Delivery Support
- Assist in delivering goods at client premises
- Ensure proper handling of customer goods
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence (unendorsed)
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Ability to communicate in English (read, write, speak)
- Own transport to and from work
