    Job Overview

    Supreme Poultry is looking for an experienced Store Assistant to support the efficient management of stock, materials, spare parts and consumables at the Belgie Breeders branch. The successful candidate will ensure accurate stock control, effective record keeping and compliance with biosecurity, quality and safety standards.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 or National Certificate.
    • Valid driver’s licence.
    • At least 1 year’s relevant experience.
    • Basic computer skills, including:
      • MS Excel
      • MS Word
      • MS PowerPoint
      • MS Outlook
    • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
    • Strong record-keeping abilities.
    • A relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends when required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, issue and control stock, materials, spare parts and consumables.
    • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
    • Communicate with the department manager to prevent overstocking and stock shortages.
    • Order and issue stock promptly to support production requirements.
    • Conduct weekly stock takes and audits of stock on hand.
    • Receive deliveries and complete all relevant documentation.
    • Maintain accurate filing and administrative records, including invoices and PPE registers.
    • Compile weekly and monthly reports.
    • Keep the store clean, organised and maintained to a high standard.
    • Collect and deliver parts, materials and supplies between suppliers and company sites when required.
    • Ensure strict compliance with biosecurity, quality and safety standards.
    • Perform additional operational duties when required.
