Job Description
Stratusconsulting Co is seeking skilled and dedicated Welders/Boilermakers to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal structures according to specifications and safety standards. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures.

Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment according to project requirements.

Weld and assemble metal components using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.

Inspect and test completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

Perform repairs and corrections on welding imperfections or structural defects.

Maintain clean and safe work areas, adhering to all company and industry safety regulations.

Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of welding tools and machinery.
Required Skills and Competencies

Proven experience as a Welder or Boilermaker in an industrial or construction environment.

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and proper handling of hazardous materials.
