Role Overview
We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistants who can support daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate stock control, maintain exceptional housekeeping standards, and provide a pleasant customer experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Interaction
Greet and acknowledge customers entering the store.
Serve as a direct liaison between customers and warehouse operations.
Stock & Dispatch Operations
Check all scheduled deliveries against customer orders.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of dispatches.
Complete and sign all warehouse control sheets (picking lists, GPNTs, OBOs, IBTs).
Run daily GPNT reports and coordinate customer collections.
Receive and verify customer credits.
File daily stock-issue documentation accurately.
Warehouse Maintenance
Participate in annual stock counts.
Pack stock in allocated designated areas (tiles, décor, mosaics, taps).
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
Ensure the warehouse is clean and organised before end-of-day.
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12.
Excellent written and verbal communication (English).
Strong numeric ability.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
SAP & Microsoft Office knowledge (advantageous).
Previous warehouse/retail experience (preferred).
