Job Purpose
To deliver exceptional customer service and ensure smooth operations at the point of sale (POS) by accurately processing transactions, promoting store loyalty (Clicks ClubCard), and maintaining merchandising and housekeeping standards.
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 (Advantageous but not explicitly stated)
Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is advantageous
Willing to work retail hours, weekends, and holidays
Clear understanding of customer service and merchandising principles
South African citizen or valid work permit

Key Responsibilities
Efficiently perform all point of sale (POS) transactions
Accurately scan merchandise and process cash/card payments
Promote and sign up customers to the Clicks ClubCard loyalty program
Make customers aware of current promotions
Maintain cleanliness and merchandise displays in the store
Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service
Stay informed about products, promotions, and store events
Safeguard all cash and ensure proper till balancing
