    Job Purpose

    The Regional Territory Leader is responsible for driving commercial activities and business growth within the assigned territory. The role focuses on implementing strategic sales plans, managing regional operations, supporting product development initiatives, and leading a high-performing team to achieve the organization’s goals.

    This position requires strong agricultural expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence across the region.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with the company’s overall sales and marketing objectives.

    • Lead and motivate a territory team, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.

    • Collaborate with the product development team to design and refine innovative agricultural products suited for local market needs.

    • Provide technical guidance and advice to agents and customers on the effective use of agricultural products across various crops.

    • Manage logistics and supply chain operations for depots, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient distribution.

    • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for business expansion within the territory.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and key stakeholders in the agricultural community.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

    • Prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior management on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities.

    • Strong agricultural knowledge and technical understanding of crop management and product application.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Education:

      • Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)

      • National Diploma or Degree in Agriculture (Essential)

    • Experience:

      • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within the agricultural or agribusiness sector.

      • Demonstrated success in territory or regional sales management.

    • Technical Proficiency:

      • Strong understanding of agricultural products, crop solutions, and market dynamics.
