    Job Purpose

    The Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving company sales targets by promoting and selling Tidy Files Solutions (including software, hardware, implementation, and conversion projects). The role requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing tailored business solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction through professional service delivery and consistent performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the company.

    • Sell Tidy Files Solutions and associated Metrofile Group services, including software, hardware, and implementation projects.

    • Conduct in-depth client needs analysis to provide customized, purpose-fit business solutions.

    • Engage regularly with clients to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

    • Act as the primary liaison between clients and Tidy Files for:

      • Negotiating prices within authorized parameters.

      • Problem-solving and issue resolution.

      • Providing tailored solutions to meet client requirements.

    • Keep management informed of market and competitor trends affecting sales strategy.

    • Maintain an updated CRM database for all clients within assigned portfolio.

    • Develop and execute Call Cycle Plans to leverage new business opportunities and ensure client retention.

    • Prepare and submit pipeline management reports weekly to the General / Sales / Branch Manager.

    • Complete Daily Activity Reports and meet the required number of client visits.

    • Handle administrative responsibilities, including emails, quotations, serializations, and reporting.

    • Monitor client payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.

    • Stay informed on legislative requirements related to document and records management.

    • Sell across all sectors — Government, Corporate, and Dealer networks.

    Skills, Attributes & Knowledge

    • Excellent communication skills (read, write, and speak English fluently).

    • Strong numerical ability and basic mathematics proficiency.

    • In-depth product knowledge and understanding of business solutions.

    • Effective time management and organizational skills.

    • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.

    • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

    • Sound business acumen with the ability to engage at senior and executive levels.

    • High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools).

    • Proven ability to deliver high-level sales presentations.

    • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

    • Must be prepared to travel between client sites as required.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (Essential).

    • Experience: 4–8 years of proven success in a sales environment, preferably in software, hardware, or business solutions.

    • Other Requirements:

      • Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence.

      • Strong track record in B2B sales and client relationship management.
