Salary: R879,342 per annum (OSD – Occupation Specific Dispensation, all-inclusive package)

Minimum Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 Certificate

  • Degree or National Higher Diploma in Built Environment

  • Depending on qualifications, required experience:

    • Degree/National Higher Diploma: 4 years and 6 months certified experience

    • BTech (NQF 7): 4 years certified managerial experience

    • Honours Degree (NQF 8): 3 years certified experience

• Registration:

  • Must be registered as a Professional Construction Project Manager with SACPCMP (on appointment)
    → South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions

• Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Computer literacy

  • Knowledge of:

    • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)

    • Occupational Health and Safety Act

    • Building Regulations and Environmental Conservation Act

    • Government procurement system

    • JBCC and GCC forms of contract

  • Strong project planning, financial, communication, and analytical skills

Key Duties:

• Oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to close-out under a supervisor

• Handle planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of projects

• Prepare and revise work plans; assign roles and manage project scope

• Manage project finances and report progress to senior management

• Administer tenders and interact with service providers

• Conduct office and project administration duties

• Maintain records and manage architectural library resources

• Stay current on construction and project management technologies and practices
