Responsibilities:
-
Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of construction projects
-
Execute, monitor, and evaluate projects in line with professional standards
-
Apply project methodologies to manage project scope, risks, and deliverables
-
Report on project progress, manage budgets and allocate resources
-
Administer tenders and liaise with service providers and clients
-
Contribute to HR and administrative functions within the unit
-
Conduct research on modern project management trends and techniques
-
Ensure legal compliance with PFMA, OHS, Building Regulations, and more
Qualifications:
-
Grade 12 Certificate
-
One of the following qualifications in the Built Environment:
-
National Higher Diploma + 4 years and 6 months certified experience
-
BTech (NQF 7) + 4 years certified managerial experience
-
Honours Degree (NQF 8) + 3 years certified experience
-

Compulsory registration with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager (upon appointment)

Valid driver’s license
-
Proficiency in PFMA, OHS Act, Government Procurement System, JBCC and GCC contracts
-
Strong computer, planning, communication, analytical, and financial management skills
