    Objective of the Contract

    The objective of this tender is to appoint a reliable and qualified service provider to prepare and deliver catering services as needed by Flavius Mareka TVET College. The goal is to ensure the timely, hygienic, and professional provision of meals and refreshments for college-related events, functions, and other institutional needs.

    Scope of Work

    The appointed service provider will be responsible for:

    • Preparation of meals and refreshments according to the institution’s specifications.

    • Delivery of food and beverages to designated venues within the agreed timeframes.

    • Provision of equipment and personnel, including all serving utensils, disposable or reusable containers, and appropriately uniformed staff.

    • Setup and breakdown of catering stations (where required).

    • Supply of beverages, both hot and cold, including water, soft drinks, tea/coffee.

    • Adherence to dietary requirements, including vegetarian, halaal, and allergy-sensitive options (as per request).

    Technical Requirements

    To qualify for consideration, the bidder must:

    • Comply with all food safety and health regulations, including food handling, preparation, and transportation standards.

    • Employ qualified and experienced catering staff.

    • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients.

    • Maintain strict hygiene standards across all preparation, storage, and delivery processes.

    • Demonstrate capacity to handle events of varying scales, from small meetings to large functions.

    • Submit all required documentation, including:

      • Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) Report

      • Front page checklist

      • Evaluation criteria document

      • Tender data separation sheet

      • All other returnable schedules as specified in the tender documents.

    Evaluation Criteria

    Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of:

    • Compliance with returnable documentation

    • Functionality / Capability Assessment

    • Price and value-added services

    • Service provider’s experience and capacity

    • Potential application of the 80/20 preference point system (confirm in tender docs)
