    Objective of the Contract

    The main objective of this tender is to appoint a reliable supplier to deliver cleaning equipment and cleaning consumables to the Sasolburg site of Flavius Mareka TVET College on an as-and-when-required basis. The contract is designed to support the college’s ongoing operational needs for cleanliness, hygiene, and facility maintenance.

    Scope of Work

    The successful bidder will be expected to:

    • Supply and deliver a wide range of cleaning equipment, including but not limited to:

      • Brooms, mops, buckets

      • Industrial vacuum cleaners

      • Floor polishers

      • Cleaning trolleys

      • High-pressure washers

    • Supply and deliver cleaning consumables, such as:

      • Disinfectants and surface cleaners

      • Toilet paper and hand towels

      • Hand soap, sanitizer, and refills

      • Floor and window cleaning chemicals

      • Trash bags and bin liners

    • Deliver goods on an as-and-when-needed basis, with flexibility to respond to urgent or bulk requests

    • Maintain consistent stock availability and ensure prompt delivery upon request

    Technical Requirements

    The bidder must:

    • Comply with national procurement laws and regulations, including:

      • Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA)

      • Treasury Supply Chain Management regulations

    • Submit the following documentation:

      • Valid CSD (Central Supplier Database) registration

      • Fully completed and signed declaration forms

      • Proof of compliance with tax and municipal account obligations

      • Returnable documents specified in the tender pack

    • Confirm:

      • No prior record on the Register for Tender Defaulters or Restricted Suppliers Database

      • No conflict of interest or submission of fraudulent documents

      • The capacity and resources to deliver supplies in full and on time

    • Provide proof of:

      • Experience in supplying cleaning products

      • A track record of delivering similar contracts (if applicable)

    Evaluation Criteria

    Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:

      • Competitive pricing for both bulk and ad hoc orders

      • Tax compliance and registration on CSD

    • Preferential Points System:

      • In accordance with 80/20 or 90/10 PPPFA (subject to tender rules)
