Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage and lead the branch operations to ensure the achievement of gross profit, unit sales, Rand sales, and second gross targets. The Branch Manager is responsible for driving business performance, ensuring compliance, managing staff, and protecting Auto Pedigree’s commercial interests within the region.
Key Responsibilities / Job Outputs
Branch Performance & Profitability

Maximise gross profit and ensure all sales targets are met

Drive unit sales, Rand sales, and second gross performance

Identify growth opportunities and address business weaknesses
Financial, Stock & Asset Management
-
Manage stock, assets, and cash in line with company policies
-
Ensure accurate control of inventory and branch assets
-
Work closely with the F&I Manager to ensure financial and insurance compliance
Compliance & Reporting
-
Ensure all retail and internal compliance requirements are met

Communicate and enforce all company procedures within the branch

Ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports
People Management & Leadership

Build a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and professionalism

Conduct monthly staff meetings to review performance and strategy

Carry out performance appraisals and manage employee development
-
Ensure staff are trained through internal courses and on-the-job training

Provide coaching, counselling, and mentorship to staff
Sales & Customer Management

Oversee customer experience and sales processes

Support sales and marketing initiatives at branch level

Manage customer escalations and ensure service excellence
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications

Grade 12
-
NCA qualification
Experience
-
3–5 years relevant management or supervisory experience
Licensing & Skills

Valid driver’s license

Computer literacy

Understanding of retail compliance – advantageous

Knowledge of local languages – advantageous
