Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to achieve vehicle sales targets while actively promoting the Auto Pedigree brand. The position focuses on sourcing new customers, retaining existing clients, and closing profitable vehicle sales through excellent customer service and strong sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities / Job Outputs
Sales & Business Development
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Proactively source new customers and sales opportunities
Identify and develop new revenue streams
Drive strategies to retain and grow the existing customer base
Negotiate deals and successfully close sales
Product Knowledge
Develop a strong understanding of vehicle features, specifications, and benefits
Confidently present vehicle options that meet customer needs
Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings
Customer Experience & Relationship Management
Manage customer expectations to ensure excellent service delivery
Accompany customers on test drives and collect required documentation
Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally
Build long-term relationships through trust and consistent service
Showroom & Operational Support
Assist with showroom setup and vehicle displays
Ensure vehicles are presented in a professional and appealing manner
Maintain accurate customer and sales records
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Grade 12
Experience
Minimum 2 years customer service and sales experience with a proven track record
Automotive industry experience – advantageous, not mandatory
Licensing & Transport
Code 08 unendorsed driver’s license
Own transport
Skills & Knowledge
Computer literacy
Basic understanding of retail compliance – an advantage
Knowledge of local languages – an advantage
Understanding of Auto Pedigree products and services – desirable
