Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Mechanician to join our client’s mining operations in the Free State. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing instrumentation systems, ensuring efficient and safe plant operations.
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems

Ensure optimal performance of plant control systems

Troubleshoot faults and minimize downtime

Support metallurgical processes through accurate instrumentation

Work with plant teams to maintain operational efficiency

Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
Minimum Requirements
-
N4 Certificate
-
Trade Certificate (Instrument Mechanician)
-
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant industry experience
Required Knowledge & Skills
-
Understanding of PGM flotation plant control philosophy
-
Knowledge of metallurgical processes
-
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Attention to detail and commitment to safety
