Guide Requirements
Valid SA Guide Licence & PDP
FGASA NQF 4 + Backup Trails (Lead Trails advantageous)
Min 3 years Big 5 guiding experience
Valid First Aid (trauma care)
Strong communication & hosting skills
Knowledge of wildlife, conservation, and bush ecology
Vehicle maintenance basics & radio communication proficiency
Guide Responsibilities
Conduct guided game drives and bush walks
Ensure guest safety at all times
Deliver informative wildlife and ecological insights
Host guests during meals, sundowners, and activities
Maintain vehicles and equipment
Follow game driving and rifle protocols
Assist with camp duties (transfers, luggage, maintenance)
Front of House Requirements
Prior hospitality experience (waiter/floor manager ideal)
Strong guest relations & service skills
Good food, wine, and beverage knowledge
Understanding of menus and ingredients
Basic stock rotation skills
Hard-working, eager to learn, well-presented
Front of House Responsibilities
Prepare tables with proper settings
Host guests and deliver exceptional dining service
Coordinate communication between kitchen and service staff
Maintain menu knowledge to assist guests
Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation standards
Clear tables and maintain an organised dining environment
