Role Purpose
The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, moving, loading, and unloading of goods in the warehouse or yard using a forklift. The role includes supporting operational efficiency through accurate picking, stacking, and stock movement while maintaining safety standards and good customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklift to move, load, unload, stack, and store products
Interpret and follow invoices for picking and dispatch
Maintain cleanliness and safe working condition of the forklift
Perform daily forklift safety checks and report issues
Assist with accurate goods location, packing, and stock rotation
Deliver professional customer service when interacting with internal and external clients
Follow warehouse layout for efficient handling and storage of goods
Adhere to company values, safety protocols, and operating procedures
Minimum Requirements (Implied)
Valid forklift operator license
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Basic literacy and numeracy (to interpret invoices and stock labels)
Ability to work in a team environment
