Job Description
Job Purpose:
To manage dietetic food services within the hospital kitchen, ensuring nutritional standards, hygiene compliance, and Health & Safety audits are consistently maintained in collaboration with the kitchen management team.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage hospital food services with a focus on dietetics
-
Monitor and enforce hygiene standards and safety protocols
-
Conduct menu analysis and assess therapeutic diets
-
Provide nutritional guidance to the catering team
-
Collaborate with clinical dietitians and medical staff to meet patient dietary needs
-
Advise on diet modifications, meal planning, food preparation, and food quality
-
Ensure dietary compliance with hospital and national standards
-
Support on-the-job training for catering staff regarding nutrition and dietary practices
Desirable Education and Experience:
-
Tertiary qualification in Dietetics (required)
-
Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a dietetics role
-
Hospital experience in a similar role (advantageous)

Proficient in Microsoft Office
