Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Branch Manager for a large, accredited Manufacturing/Wholesale client. The role involves overseeing sales, stock management, and a team of key account managers and merchandisers.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to plan product ranges.
Analyze product sales per customer; identify slow-moving stock and apply corrective measures.
Discuss and sell Return on Investment (ROI) concepts to customers.
Meet decision-makers and close sales deals.
Manage sales forecasts to predict sales and profits.
Supervise and train junior staff.
Manage stock levels and distribution efficiently.
Resolve supply and production issues promptly.
Set stock promotions and price reductions when needed.
Promote bestselling products to maximize profit.
Deliver financial presentations to senior managers.
Assess sales performance and recommend improvements.
Plan and measure in-store promotions, reporting outcomes to senior managers.
Implement corrective actions based on stock records.
Manage 3 Key Account Managers (KAMs) and On Loan Merchandisers.
Requirements
Matric with Higher Grade in Maths and/or Accountancy.
Relevant degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
Commercial acumen with understanding of profit margins and financial impact.
