     JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing the entire branch, ensuring sales targets, profitability, and operational efficiency are achieved while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.

     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

     Sales & Profitability

    • Drive unit sales, Rand sales, and gross profit targets
    • Ensure the branch meets financial and performance targets
    • Identify and grow business opportunities in the area

     Branch Operations Management

    • Oversee daily branch operations
    • Ensure smooth running of all departments
    • Implement company procedures and policies

     Stock & Asset Management

    • Manage stock levels, assets, and cash flow
    • Ensure proper control and accountability of inventory

     Team Leadership & People Management

    • Lead, motivate, and manage branch staff
    • Conduct performance appraisals
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training
    • Build a strong team culture and resolve conflicts

     Financial & Compliance Oversight

    • Work closely with the F&I Manager on finance and insurance compliance
    • Ensure all administrative and compliance requirements are met
    • Understand and monitor financial reports and performance

     Reporting & Communication

    • Submit reports on time
    • Hold monthly staff meetings to discuss:
      • Sales performance
      • Marketing activities
      • Business opportunities
      • Challenges and solutions

     REQUIREMENTS

     Qualifications

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • NCA (National Credit Act knowledge/qualification)

     Experience

    • 3–5 years’ relevant experience in sales, retail, or automotive environment

     Additional Requirements

    • Valid driver’s licence
    • Computer literacy

     ADVANTAGEOUS

    • Knowledge of retail compliance
    • Understanding of local languages
    • Experience in automotive or dealership environment
