PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To provide end-to-end funeral support services, assist bereaved families with arrangements, ensure all legal and administrative processes are completed, and promote funeral and insurance products while delivering compassionate client service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Funeral Arrangements & Administration
- Arrange and coordinate funerals and cremations
- Complete and process all legal documentation
- Maintain accurate funeral records and files
Client Support & Counselling
- Provide emotional support and guidance to grieving families
- Assist clients with enquiries and resolve complaints
- Deliver compassionate and professional customer service
Financial Administration
- Handle payments and invoicing
- Ensure accurate financial record-keeping
Sales & Marketing
- Promote and sell:
- Funeral services
- Tombstones
- Insurance products
- Identify new business opportunities and grow client base
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Own reliable transport and cellphone
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Must comply with FAIS requirements (fit and proper for financial services)
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the funeral industry (advantageous)
