Job Description
The After Sales Manager, Mechanisation is responsible for the overall management and profitability of the mechanisation workshop and parts division. The role focuses on delivering excellent after-sales service, managing workshop operations, overseeing inventory and parts management, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting business growth.
The successful candidate will lead workshop and parts teams, manage financial performance, maintain assets, provide technical support, and ensure efficient service delivery to agricultural clients while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Main Purpose of the Role
To effectively manage the mechanisation parts and workshop operations to provide sustainable, profitable, and high-quality after-sales service to customers while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Manage the financial performance of the mechanisation division.
- Monitor profitability and cost control measures.
- Develop and manage operational budgets.
- Analyse financial reports and performance indicators.
- Ensure efficient utilisation of resources and assets.
Personnel Management
- Recruit, train, and develop workshop and parts personnel.
- Conduct performance management and staff evaluations.

Workshop Management
- Oversee daily workshop operations.
- Ensure efficient service delivery and turnaround times.

Parts and Inventory Management
- Manage parts inventory and stock control.
- Ensure adequate stock availability.

- Enhance customer satisfaction through excellent after-sales service.

Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications

- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.

- Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in a mechanisation environment.
