    Job Description

    The Agricultural Equipment Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing marketing and sales activities for agricultural equipment within the assigned territory. The role focuses on driving profitable sales growth, expanding market share, managing customer relationships, overseeing inventory and financial performance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

    The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge of agricultural machinery with strong marketing and sales management skills to support business growth and customer success.

    Main Purpose of the Role

    To effectively control and manage the agricultural equipment marketing plan, ensuring profitable sales, market growth, customer satisfaction, and efficient management of equipment inventory and financial performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Marketing and Business Development

    • Develop and implement agricultural equipment marketing plans.
    • Drive marketing initiatives within the assigned territory.
    • Identify new market opportunities and business prospects.
    • Promote agricultural equipment products to existing and potential customers.
    • Increase market share and sales performance.

    Sales Management

    • Achieve sales targets and profitability objectives.
    • Market and sell agricultural machinery and equipment.
    • Process sales transactions and product exchanges.
    • Prepare quotations and sales proposals.
    • Negotiate pricing and sales agreements with customers.
    • Monitor and improve sales performance.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

    Administration and Reporting

    • Maintain accurate sales and customer records.

    Minimum Requirements

    Educational Qualifications

    Essential

    • Grade 12 (Matric)

    Advantageous

    • Agricultural, Marketing, Business Management, or Technical qualifications.

    Experience

    Essential

    • 4–5 years’ experience within the agricultural equipment industry.
    • Experience in agricultural equipment sales and marketing.
    • Proven experience developing and implementing marketing plans.
    • Experience managing customer relationships and sales targets.

    Licensing

    • Valid Driver’s Licence.
    • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
