Job Overview
A manufacturing operation in Heilbron, Free State is looking for three motivated and reliable General Workers to join its Production team.
The successful candidates will perform general operational duties, assist with product handling, maintain housekeeping standards and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements and established Standard Operating Procedures.
Job Description
The General Workers will support daily production operations by completing basic tasks, handling products and maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Candidates should be dependable, committed and able to work effectively as part of a team. The position requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, as well as in extreme conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete basic and general operational tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Handle products safely and efficiently.
- Assist with day-to-day production activities.
- Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in the workplace.
- Follow instructions and established operational procedures.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required by management.
- Support team members in achieving production objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Fluent in Business English.
- Ability and willingness to work in extreme conditions.
