Job Overview
Ampath Laboratories is seeking a reliable and professional Motorbike Courier to join its Pelenomi Messengers team in Bloemfontein. This permanent role is essential in supporting healthcare services by ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely transportation of medical specimens, reports, and parcels.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining service excellence by delivering specimens and documents efficiently while representing Ampath professionally within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver medical specimens, reports, and parcels safely and efficiently.
- Transport items using a motorbike and, where required, a vehicle.
- Ensure specimens and medical items are handled according to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain delivery schedules and ensure punctual service.
- Build positive relationships with clients and healthcare facilities.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of company vehicles or motorbikes.
- Represent Ampath professionally at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid South African Code A Driver’s Licence.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ general driving experience.
