Job Overview
VKB Finance is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join its Head Office team in Reitz. This position is ideal for an organised individual with experience in accounts payable or finance administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end activities, and ensuring efficient administration within the Creditors Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and on time.
- Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier invoices.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate creditor records and supporting documentation.
- Support internal audit processes by ensuring records are complete and accurate.
- Communicate professionally with suppliers and internal departments regarding account queries.
- Perform general accounts payable and finance administration duties.
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification.
Experience
- Previous experience in accounts payable or general finance support.
Skills and Competencies
