Job Overview
Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM), a subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited, is recruiting a Broker Consultant responsible for marketing products to senior brokers and key client companies.
The role focuses on building and maintaining broker relationships, driving sales growth, providing broker support, and servicing existing business portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Broker & Client Relationship Management
Market and promote company products to senior brokers
Build and maintain strong broker partnerships
Liaise with financial institution leads
Service brokers and key client companies
Develop new business opportunities
Sales & Business Development
Actively promote and grow product sales
Receive and process requests for quotations
Make alterations to existing policies/business
Identify opportunities to expand broker portfolios
Drive revenue growth through strategic engagement
Administration & Operational Support
Process new and existing business
Provide broker support and guidance
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping
May oversee or supervise certain activities (if required)
Qualification & Experience
Grade 12 (Matric) or Diploma
5–6 years related industry experience
Experience working with brokers or within financial services environment
