    Job Description

    This position requires a highly experienced operations professional with a strong background in the Cash-In-Transit industry. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operational activities, manage employees, maintain client relationships, ensure compliance with security procedures, and coordinate all aspects of CIT operations.

    The role also involves managing risk, handling HR and industrial relations matters, monitoring operational systems, and ensuring that service delivery standards are consistently maintained.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Management

    • Oversee all Cash-In-Transit operations within the branch.
    • Provide daily operational instructions and guidance to employees.
    • Monitor service delivery and operational performance.
    • Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with company procedures.
    • Coordinate and manage CIT schedules and movements.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Ensure all clients receive services according to contractual agreements.
    • Maintain strong client relationships.
    • Address operational concerns and service issues promptly.
    • Promote client retention and satisfaction.

    Staff Management

    • Supervise operational employees.
    • Manage staff performance and productivity.
    • Handle personnel-related matters.
    • Address Human Resources (HR) and Industrial Relations (IR) issues.

    Minimum Requirements

    Security Qualifications

    Essential

    • PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification.
    • Cash-In-Transit (CIT) Certificate.
    • Firearm Competency Certificate (minimum handgun qualification for business purposes).

    Experience

    Essential

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in:
      • Cash-In-Transit operations, or
      • Similar security operations environment.

    Advantageous

    • Previous experience within Fidelity Services Group.
    • CIT management experience.
    • Supervisory or operational leadership experience.

    Knowledge Requirements
