    Job Overview

    Eduvos is seeking an Academic Content Writer with expertise in Software Engineering and Information Technology to develop, review, and maintain high-quality higher education learning materials and assessments. The successful candidate will work closely with subject matter experts to create academically rigorous content aligned with higher education quality standards and the Eduvos curriculum framework.

    This role is ideal for an experienced academic, lecturer, instructional designer, or curriculum developer with strong expertise in software engineering and modern computing technologies.

    Purpose of the Role

    The primary purpose of the position is to provide content development and academic writing services within the Information Technology Department by creating engaging learning resources, assessments, and online educational content for students.

    Key Responsibilities

    Learning Material Development

    • Develop new study guides, learning resources, and academic content.
    • Create assessments aligned to programme and module outcomes.
    • Ensure all content complies with Eduvos development guidelines and academic standards.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts and academic teams through communities of practice.
    • Develop content that aligns with programme specifications and Eduvos branding.

    Quality Assurance

    • Submit content for moderation and quality review.
    • Address moderator feedback and recommendations.
    • Prepare content for copy-editing and final publication.
    • Ensure academic accuracy, consistency, and relevance.

    Learning Management System (LMS) Content

    • Upload and release learning materials in the required format.
    • Create and maintain module pages on Moodle or similar LMS platforms.
    • Develop interactive learning activities and online engagement tools.
    • Support content integration and module setup where required.

    Content Maintenance

    • Review and update existing study materials.
    • Revise assessments to maintain academic relevance.
    • Resolve content-related queries from academic teams.
    • Ensure learning materials remain current and aligned with industry developments.
