    Job Description

    The role involves managing client relationships within the Business and Commercial Banking segment, identifying sales opportunities, providing banking advice, and ensuring excellent customer service. The consultant is expected to understand client requirements, recommend suitable solutions, manage risks, and contribute to business growth through effective relationship management.

    The position requires strong communication, sales, relationship-building, and risk management skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with Enterprise Banking clients.
    • Understand clients’ financial and business requirements.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to business customers.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service and support.

    Sales and Business Development

    • Identify opportunities to grow client portfolios.
    • Promote appropriate banking products and services.
    • Cross-sell and upsell relevant financial and non-financial solutions.
    • Contribute to business growth and revenue targets.

    Financial Solutions Delivery

    • Provide tailored banking solutions to clients.
    • Assist clients with transactional, lending, and other banking requirements.
    • Support clients with platform-based and ecosystem solutions where applicable.

    Risk Management

    • Identify and assess potential banking risks.
    • Ensure compliance with banking policies and procedures.
    • Monitor client accounts and transactions for risk-related issues.
    • Escalate concerns when necessary.

    Customer Service

    • Resolve client queries efficiently and professionally.
    • Ensure service standards are maintained.
    • Deliver a positive client experience at every interaction.

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications

    • First Degree in Business Commerce or a related field.

    Experience

    • 3–4 years of experience in a Personal or Consumer Banking environment.
    • Experience as:
      • Customer Consultant, and/or
      • Personal Banker, and/or
      • Enquiries Officer.

    Preferred Background

    • Experience within Relationship Banking or Client Coverage.
    • Exposure to Business and Commercial Banking environments.
